To extol our Parafango wrap as a way to decrease the appearance of cellulite, as many do, is to overlook the pure sensuous pleasure of this treatment, which many prefer to wraps offered elsewhere because no shower is required at the end. We offer wraps for the legs only, for the legs and stomach, or for the legs, arms and stomach.

While the client relaxes on the table, the massage therapist exfoliates the skin using a body brush, then applies a serum and massages it into the skin. Next comes the application of warmed Parafango – a proprietary combination of paraffin and mineral-rich sea mud – after which the area is wrapped to promote the penetration of the nutrients into the skin. The sensation is that of a mini-sauna.

While the Parafango does its magic, the client is treated to a head and neck massage. After the wrap is removed, the skin is massaged with a finishing cream that helps firm the skin.

In addition to reducing the appearance of cellulite and smoothing the skin, many clients choose a Parafango wrap to relieve fibromyalgia, swollen legs, varicose veins and joint pain, to soften stretch marks, to promote circulation, to reduce water retention, and to detoxify and tone the skin. It is considered safe for diabetics.
